Web Session-aware Queue Scheduling

چکیده

本稿では過負荷時にWeb アプリケーションサーバの性能低下を防ぐ Session-aware Queue Scheduling(SQS)を 提案する.既存の多くのアドミッション制御はサーバ全体またはページを単位として制御を行うため,セッション を利用する現実のワークロードには適していない.実際のワークロードを重視したスケジューリングを行うために, SQS ではページ単位のスケジューラとセッション単位のスケジューラを連携させる.ページスケジューラはWeb アプリケーションの進捗を監視することで,最適なページ処理並行度を動的に決定する.セッションスケジューラ はページスケジューラの待機リクエストのためのキューを監視することで最適な同時セッション数を動的に決定す る.我々はこれらのスケジューラを Tomcat 上に実装し,セッションを考慮したワークロードを用いて実験を行っ た.その結果,SQS を用いた場合には過負荷時のセッション処理性能を改善できることが確認できた.
